Revolut Metal Card

Revolut Metal is the the premium subscription plan for Revolut customers. You get low fees on crypto, interest paid daily on savings and more. Read more about the Metal Revolut debit card below and apply to get yours.

With the Revolut Metal card you can spend in more than 140 currencies, and exchange in 28+ fiat currencies. There are no monthly limit and no hidden fees.

You also get out-of-network ATM withdrawals at no cost up to $1,200 per month, and 100% fee-free ATM withdrawals at more than 55,000 ATMs in the Revolut network. Trade crypto commission-free up to $200,000 per month.

The Revolut Metal card comes with several exclusive features, including:

Card Fees

Your first Metal card is free. This can be a Metal Premium or Standard one, but keep in mind that you may have to pay a delivery fee.

You may also need to pay $70 for the Metal card itself if you cancel your subscription within 14 days of signing up.

Your second Metal card is also free. This can be a Metal, Premium, or Standard one (unless your first card was a Metal one, as you only get one). The same delivery fee applies if you cancel your subscription.

For any additional Revolut cards, you will be charged $70 per Metal card and £10 per non-metal card.

You may also order a custom card or a Special Edition Card, depending on availability. A custom design and delivery fee may apply and you’ll be notified about the cost before you order your card.

Access to the Revolut Metal Airport Lounge

Revolut Metal subscribers have one of the most important benefits: they allow you to access airport lounges, making long and tiring airport waits into pleasant experiences.

LoungeKey is a program that gives you access to more than 1,000 airport lounges in over 120 countries. You can purchase a lounge pass by going to the Revolut App if you are about to board a plane. Y

ou can bring your family and friends along, but only the first lounge access is available for PS22.

To gain entry, you will be given a QR code. The benefits vary from lounges to lounges, but they usually include a comfortable place to work, refreshments, and sometimes even spa services. You can request a refund through the Revolut app if you don’t use your lounge pass within 14 days of purchase.

SmartDelay is another feature offered by Revolut in its airport lounges. SmartDelay allows you to access certain airport lounges for free if your flight is delayed more than one hour.

This benefit may be worth paying the fee depending on how often you use it. Also, check whether you can access airport lounges via your credit card. Many offer this service, so it is definitely worth looking into. 

Revolut Metal Also Offers Other Benefits

Revolut Metal offers customers a concierge service. You can make requests through the app to the concierge and an email will be sent back to you.

Perhaps you are looking for a recommendation on a restaurant or need to make a booking for a last-minute trip. After the concierge has set up the transaction, they won’t be able to process it until you have accepted the final price.

Revolut premium also offers the same benefits as comprehensive travel insurance. You get worldwide emergency medical treatment and dental treatment. You also get compensation for delayed or lost luggage and flights.

How to Order Your Metal Card

You can instantly upgrade to Metal if you are already on Revolut Premium. Go to the “More” section and click “Upgrade”. Then, press “Go Metal!”

Revolut will reimburse you for any month you don’t use your Premium account, regardless of whether you subscribe to the monthly or annual Premium subscription.

Revolut Standard accounts can be upgraded by going to the “Upgrade” section. Revolut has a limited supply of Metal cards so you will have to wait for a few weeks. Revolut will contact you to inform you that it is time to upgrade. You can then choose to opt out or continue.
