Frequently asked questions
What does an IPO calendar show?
The calendar brings together upcoming and recent initial public offerings, including available dates, status, exchange, ticker and offer-price information. Coverage depends on the verified records available for tracked companies and should not be treated as a complete list of every possible offering.
Are upcoming IPO dates guaranteed?
No. Expected dates can move because of market conditions, regulatory review, company decisions or exchange requirements. An offering may also be postponed, withdrawn or cancelled. Check the status and primary-source link before making plans around a date.
What is the difference between filed, expected, priced and trading?
Filed means offering documents have been submitted to a regulator. Expected indicates a provisional timetable. Priced means the final offer price has been set. Trading means the shares have started trading on the exchange. Earlier stages are more likely to change.
What do the offer price range and final offer price mean?
The range is the issuer's indicated price interval before pricing and may be revised. The final offer price is the amount set for the IPO allocation. It is not necessarily the price at which the stock will trade after the market opens.
Can individual investors buy shares at the IPO price?
Sometimes, but access depends on the offering, broker, eligibility rules and the number of shares allocated. Many investors can only buy after exchange trading begins, when the market price may be above or below the final IPO price.
Where does the IPO information come from?
Financer prioritizes regulator filings, official company announcements, prospectuses and exchange notices. Each record should retain its source and verification details. If information is provisional or unverified, it should be labelled accordingly rather than presented as confirmed.
