Which Banks Offer Personal Loans in 2024?

There are many banks that offer personal loans, including LightStream, American Express, Discover, and Citibank.

Let’s look at some details of the personal loans that each of these banks is providing as of April 2024.

Wells Fargo is one of the best banks for personal loans in 2024 as they offer repayment terms of up to 84 months, same-day funding, and APR rates as low as 5.74%.

LightStream is the online lending arm of Truist Bank and they offer a wide range of loan amounts, repayment terms, and low or no fees. You can borrow up to $100,000 with a maximum APR of 2.49%.

American Express is seen as the best bank for personal loans by many and offers their lenders personal loans based on their creditworthiness.

American Express offers a pre-qualification option, low APR rates for people with excellent credit, and the ability to use your American Express personal loan for credit card debt consolidation.

With Discover personal loans you can get same-day approval from one of the largest online banks in the U.S. Their APR range is between 5.99% and 24.99% and they offer personal loans up to $35,000.

You may also consider Citibank, which is present in more than 100 countries. Citibank personal loans are available for existing customers and joint applications are allowed. You can expect APRs of between 6.99% and 23.99%. The maximum you can borrow is $30,000.
